As a new immigrant, Eugene has set his sights on serving fellow new immigrants like himself – he is focused on helping them get adequate insurance protection as part of their holistic financial plan as they settle down in Singapore.
Ten years as an insurance professional has taught Eugene how important it is to have an insurance safety net. He recalls a couple who newly migrated from China and subsequently became his clients. After many discussions, the wife decided to purchase hospitalisation and life insurance. The following year, she was diagnosed with stage three lung cancer. With her hospitalisation cover, she could seek all the necessary medical treatment promptly; while the life insurance plan provided her family with a one-time lump sum payout.
“When I hand the cheque for a claim settlement or a cheque for an investment payout to my clients, I can sense their relief. Moments like these prove the value of my job,” shares Eugene.
Eugene describes SG Alliance as a united and loving family as well as a platform for everyone to learn more about insurance and investment. He is working hard to advise his clients on products and services that best suit their individual needs out of the growing portfolio of product providers that SG Alliance partners with.
A Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) achiever himself, here are Eugene’s words of encouragement to aspiring financial consultants: “In this career, you are your client’s “security” expert and financial consultant that plans for their protection and financial journey. What this industry can give you is not just a good living, but also a sense of identity and accomplishment.”
Eugene loves standup comedy. In his spare time, you may even catch him performing on stage in a theatre near you! Occasionally, he plays table tennis and billiards with his friends. He looks forward to meeting new friends who share the same interests and having a game together.
